Try the New AI Tool, Then Check What It Did

The invitation in this Short is to experiment while keeping the review step.

AI tools keep changing, and it is tempting to choose between trusting everything and dismissing everything. I find a small practical test more useful.

Give the tool a bounded task with a result you can inspect. Keep the original material. Compare what came back with what you asked for. If something is wrong, describe that specific mismatch before trying again.

The Short also looks ahead to agents. That makes the question of control more concrete: an answer in a chat and an action in another system have different consequences.

For any workflow that can act, make the proposed change visible and keep a clear approval boundary. Curiosity works better when I can see what happened, correct it, and decide what to try next.
