An AI Writing Assistant Still Needs Direction
I think of the AI writing assistant in this Short as an eager intern: useful for an attempt, still in need of a brief and feedback.
For an article or social post, I would begin with what the reader should understand. Then give the model the material it can use and the format the piece needs.
The first draft tells me where the brief was unclear. If the opening is vague, I can ask for a concrete example. If the voice feels generic, I can provide a passage that sounds closer to what I mean.
That back-and-forth is the useful part. A smooth paragraph is not automatically a finished one.
Before publishing, I still need to check the facts, remove invented details, and decide whether the piece says what I wanted. The assistant can help move the draft forward; the final judgment stays with the writer.
